Policies, Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Art of Shu Bodywork is dedicated to providing professional and therapeutic services to our clients. This policy and terms and conditions outline the rules and guidelines for our clinic and mobile practice, including packages and gift certificates.
Payment and Pricing
- Payment is due at the time of service. Option to pay at the time of booking!
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, e - e-transfer
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Subscribe to our mailing list for promotions and updates
Packages and Gift Certificates
- Packages and gift certificates are non-refundable and expire 6 months.
- Packages and gift certificates can be shared or transferred.
- Unused package sessions or gift certificate balances will not be refunded.
- Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or used for packages or specials
Cancellation, No show and Late Policy
- You will be charged the full session fee if you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice. The charge will be applied to the card on file.
- If you are late for your appointment, your session will be shortened to accommodate the remaining time.
Liability and Consent
- By booking an appointment, you consent to bodywork and acknowledge that you are aware of the risks and benefits.
- We are not liable for any injuries or damages
Agreements
• I affirm that I have notified my therapist of all known medical conditions, injuries and pregnancy.
• I agree to inform the therapist of any changes in my health and medical condition.
• I understand that massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.
Confidentiality and Privacy
- We maintain confidentiality and privacy of all client information and records.
Payments: The payments should be made before leaving the clinic or the therapist leaving your home. Your balance can be paid via my booking app, email transfer, debit or credit on-site or cash.
Clinic Grace Period/Late Fee: You must arrive on time to ensure you receive the full benefits of your session. There is a 10-minute grace period for all sessions. Any client over 10 minutes late to their session without notice will be subject to a $25 late fee. I understand that if I arrive late for my appointment no additional time will be awarded with no change in fee.
Rescheduling & cancellations: If you cannot attend your scheduled session, you may reschedule your appointment at no additional cost only if amended before 24 hours of your session booking.
Any requests to cancel or reschedule your session within 24 hours of your appointment is considered a no-show/cancellation and you will be charged for the full amount of your session.
No-show Policy: A cancellation fee equal to your session cost will be charged if you do not attend your scheduled session without notice. This also applies to if
Suggestions
• If you are showing cold or flu symptoms please reschedule your appointment.
• Before your massage, please remove all jewelry. Pull long hair back with a clip or band.
• Feel free to ask your therapist questions. Your therapist is a highly trained professional and will be happy to make you feel informed and comfortable.
Home service
•You can expect your therapist to arrive 10-15 mins before your appointment.
•Please set aside a clean towel.
• Pregnancy massage requires two pillows and an additional hand towel for your session.
