Your registered massage therapist

Hi! My name is Jacqueline Powell
Founder, Registered Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner and Kemetic yoga teacher.
At Art of Shu Bodywork, I integrate a blend of eastern and western massage and bodywork techniques to restore balance and ease in the body. My approach considers the whole person not just physical tension and energetic patterns that contribute to discomfort.

At Art of Shu Bodywork, our mission is to change the way people approach wellness by promoting bodywork as essential, preventative care, not just an occasional treat or a reaction to stress and pain. We empower individuals to tune into their bodies, deepen self-awareness, and take charge of their well-being through consistent care. Wellness is not a privilege, it’s a right, and we’re here to help you honor it with intention.

How I Support Your Well-Being

The name “Shu” comes from ancient Egyptian wisdom, representing breath, life force, the divine essences that flows through all things.
Just as Shu creates harmony between the elements, my techniques help to relieve pain, release stagnation, support circulation to bring a renewed sense of vitality.

By addressing both the physical and energetic layers of tension, I help recipients experience relief and deeper self-connection.
